The Bowsers moved to California from Youngstown, Ohio, where the Pastor was born and raised. In 1978, Pastor Bowser graduated from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio with a bachelor's degree in Management Sience. After graduation he went to work for General Motors, as supervisor of quality control. Shortly afterward he felt he was called to the ministry. After surrendering, he began preparing for ministry work at Baptist Bible College in Springfiled, Missouri. It was there that Pastor Bowser met his future wife, Evelyn Martin. In 1978, Pastor Bowser asked her to marry him, they were married on August 25th of that same year.

 

Later Pastor Bowser, wife, and daughter moved to Hammond, Indiana to finish his education at Hyles-Anderson College. He graduated with a degree in Pastoral Theology. While living in Hammond, Indiana, they attended and worked in the First Baptist Church, at the time, the world's largest Sunday School, with an average weekly attendance of 20,000. After graduation he founded the Central Baptist Church of Youngstown, Ohio. Later Pastor Bowser took the Pastorate at Grace Baptist Church in White Plains, New York, a suburb of New York City. He pastored there for 7 years.

 

Evelyn Bowser, the Pastor's wife, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1978 with a degree in Christian Education. Her interests include heath & nutrition, singing, walking, cooking, teaching Sunday School, learning Spanish, and outdoor activities.

 

Pastor and Mrs. Bowser have four children. Priscilla, the oldest, is married to Dan Ferguson currently living in Merrillville, IN. Adrian, married to Heather (Lopatta) Bowser, is living in Merrillville, IN. Brandon, married to Meghan (Maggorie) Bowser, is living in Firestone, CO. Brett and Katie (Collum) Bowser is living in Plattsmouth, NE. All of Pastor Bowser's children have graduated from Bible college and are currently involved in ministry work.
